Hello Hello! Happy Monday! Sara here today to share my firstlayout using June's colorful and vibrant City Lights collection! This collection is perfect for bright, summer photos, so that's where I went looking first in my pictures! I chose a photo of my youngest son in front of a local mural with my town's name. This had an urban feel I knew I could play up with the City Lights collection! I chose to create my own background fo the page using a sunburst stencil and some white cardstock. Hello Hello! Its Sara with you today sharing another layout using the brand new Floral collection! Last week we backed a cut file, this week I created a mixed media background using the gorgeous stamp set and pairing it with photos of my nephews and I. I ended up creating a rather busy background.... I started stamping and watercoloring and layering and could stop.It helps that a lot of the elements are black and white...it also helps that I placed my photos front and center and backed them with solid colors to make them POP! Hello Hello! For my layout I used the Fandom Collection. As the mother of a full blown Whovian, I was so excited to see the little bits of Dr. Who sprinkled throughout this line. I waited until I got the PERFECT photo to use . My son likes to sit in his desk chair and watch the light shine through his sonic screwdriver and contemplate life. Hello Hello! Life gets the best of us, am I right?? Life got the better of me, as I forgot to turn on my camera to record the process for my encouragement cards today..not that that needs a card, but still. Im going to type out directions for creating these sweet cards, they were pretty easy and I think they are a great pick me up for anyone when life is getting the better of them! Card #1 - Start with an A2 card base which, for easy reference, is an 81/2X11 sheet of cardstock cut in half at 51/2...
