73 Mini Album by Katelyn

Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! For today's post, I created this 73 Mini Album. To create my mini album, I've used the Ledger & Script Collection by Nicole Wright Designs. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite spring beverage and learn how to recreate my 73 Mini Album at home.
Choose either a medium or a large folder out from the Tim Holtz Ideaology Mini File Folders. Choose two pieces of patterned paper out of the Ledger & Script 12x12 Paper Pack. Trace the folder around each of the patterned papers. Cut out each patterned paper file folder. Distress the edges of each patterned paper piece and folder. Ink the edges of the folder and patterned paper folder pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam. Adhere the patterned paper file folder to each side of the file folder.
Next, you'll need to choose a pocket and insert card from the Tim Holtz Ideaology File Cards. Choose a piece of patterned paper out of the Ledger & Script paper pack. Trace the pocket around the patterned paper twice. Distress the edges of the patterned paper pocket. Ink the edges of the pocket and patterned paper pockets.
Choose a piece of patterned paper out of the Ledger & Script paper pack. Cut the insert card to 2 3/4" x 4 3/8". Trace the insert card around the other piece of patterned paper once. Flip the patterned paper over and trace the insert card around the patterned paper. Distress the edges of the patterned paper insert cards. Ink the edges of the insert card and patterned paper insert cards.
Adhere the patterned paper pocket to each side of the pocket.
Adhere the patterned paper insert card to each side of the insert card.
Adhere the pocket 3/4" from the top and 7/8" from the right of the right hand side of the inside of the file folder.
From the Ledger & Script 6x8 Stamp Set, you'll need the No.5. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the stamp and stamp on the tab at the top of the insert card. Make sure it is on the side that is visible.
Choose two pieces of patterned paper out of the Ledger & Script patterned paper pack. Cut a piece from each of the patterned papers that measure 2 3/8" x 3 5/8". Distress the edges of each patterned paper. From the Ledger & Script 6x8 Stamp Set, you'll need the Documented and Record stamps. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to each stamp and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. Cut each word into a strip. Ink the edges of the word strips and patterned papers using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
On the insert card that has the No. 5, adhere one of the patterned papers. Adhere the documented word strip to the bottom right side of the insert card as desired.
Flip the insert card over and adhere the other patterned paper to it. Adhere the record word strip to the bottom right hand side of the patterned paper as desired.
From the Ledger & Script 6x6 Stamp Set, you'll need the Remember, Posted and Date words. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the stamps and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. Cut each word out into a word strip. Ink the edges of each word strip using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Ledger & Script 6x8 Stamp Set, you'll need the 2735 stamp. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink and stamp onto the tab on the inside of the file folder. Adhere the three word strips as desired on the right hand side of the pocket.
Choose a piece of patterned paper from the Ledger & Script Paper Pack. Cut the patterned paper down to 3" x 5". Distress the edges of the paper. Cut a border strip down to 3 1/4". Notch the left side of the border strip. From the Ledger & Script 6x6 Stamp Set, you'll need the No.5 Stamp. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the No.5 stamp and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. Cut the No.5 into a strip. Ink the edges of the patterned paper, border strip and No. 5 strip.
Staple the border strip to the bottom left side of the patterned paper piece. On the inside left side of the file folder, adhere the patterned paper to the middle of the file folder. Adhere the No.5 strip 1/4" from the left of the patterned paper.
Choose a piece of patterned paper out of the Ledger & Script patterned paper. From the Countdown die set, you'll need the 7 & 3. Die cut the numbers out of the patterned paper. Ink the edges of the numbers using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam. You'll also need to choose one of the Ledger & Script Flair buttons.
Use foam squares and adhesive to adhere the 7 & 3 to the front bottom right side of the file folder. Adhere the flair button to the left of 3 as desired.
Wrap a piece of twine around the middle of the numbers and tie a bow.
From the Ledger & Script 6x6 Stamp Set, you'll need one of the number groups. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the stamp and stamp randomly on the front of the file folder. You'll need to stamp a total of eleven times. Reapply ink to the stamp as needed.
