Hello, Jenn here!!! Happy June everyone :) I hope you are all doing really well. I have a fun birthday layout to share with you today using the Sassy Since Birth collection, which is a perfect match for my sweet and sassy little niece Harper. I hope you like it!
My layout design was inspired by a challenge from Khristina at her The Secret Not Secret Kit Club scrap party where we were give the image of a pin board with lots of random bits and pieces on it. I thought this would be a really fun way to add a lot of fun elements to a birthday layout and use multiple photos.
I started by choosing the pink 12x12 paper from Sassy Since Birth and I cut my photos apart to layout them out on the background paper. I chose a few cards from the card pack to matte two pictures on, and then went through the ephemera pack to pick out more elements to fill in all the spaces on my background page.
Once I had a good idea of where I wanted everything to go, I started to glue things down. I added some foam to the back of a few pictures and ephemera to give them some dimension. I still had a few little gaps to fill in so I used some stickers from the Pink Paislee Wild Child collection and the Shimelle Glitter Girl sticker book. I stuck to mostly pink elements with just a few pops of purple and yellow. My title also came from the pink alpha stickers in the Shimelle sticker book.
To finish this layout, I added three wood veneer hearts, some sequins from SpeigelMom Scraps, and some white sketchy lines around the hearts and the whole layout. I think this layout turned so fun and cute, I just love it. If you would like to see how I pulled this layout together, please visit my for the process video.
