The tarp patterned paper is the background. I added a border strip across the middle of the layout.Then I created a few simple layers using a combination of patterned paper and cards from the card pack. Mat the photos in white cardstock, and add to the middle of the layout using foam tape.
Next I began adding embellishments including ephemera, gems and pearls around the matted photos.
