Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! For today's post, I'm sharing this Congratulations Gift Box which is perfect for putting a little something in it to give to a friend or loved one. My gift box features the BRAND NEW In Nature Collection.
To start, you'll need a gift box. Choose one of the nature stamps from the In Nature Stamp Set. Apply Lush Forest Ink to the stamp and stamp randomly on the box. Reapply ink as needed to the stamp and continue stamping on the box until the front and back of the box is covered. Fold the box. Ink the edges of the box using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the In Nature Paper Pack. you'll need the bird paper and the white/black floral paper. Cut a piece from the bird paper that measures 2 1/4" x 8". Cut a piece from the white/black floral that measures 2" x 8". Sand the edges of both papers.
Choose two border strips from the bottom of the patterned papers. Cut one border strip down to 3". Cut the other border strip to 2 3/4". Sand the edges of both border strips.
From the quote cut apart paper, fussy cut the heart quote out. Sand the edges of the heart.
From the other cut apart paper, fussy cut the floral image out. Sand the edges of the image.
From the insect paper, fussy cut two butterflies out. Sand the edges of the butterflies.
From the Sentiments 4x6 Stamp Set, you'll need the congratulations stamp. Apply Cherry Blossom Ink to the congratulations stamp and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. Fussy cut around the sentiment.
Adhere the bird paper to the middle of the box. Adhere the white/black floral paper to the middle of the bird paper.
Adhere the two border strips to the bottom right side of the heart. Foam square the heart to the middle of paper strips.
Adhere the two butterflies as desired in amongst the floral image. Foam square the floral image to the heart covering up most of the quote.
To finish the box, adhere the congratulations sentiment to the bottom portion of the floral image.
