Hi everyone! It's Linda and I'm here to share a small mixed media canvas that I created today using the Strength of the Season stamp set and a card from the Strength of the Season card pack.
To make this canvas, I began by stenciling with some texture plaste and then glued down a couple of chipboard pieces with multi matte medium. Once the glue was dry, I painted everything with a coast of white gesso.
After drying with my heat tool, I used a couple of Lindy's sprays: Tawny Turquoise and Maidenhair Fern Green and sprayed here and there; then took a spray bottle with water and sprayed everything to get the colours to move and blend together.
I used Copic markers to colour the flowers and leaves. These are the colours I used: E25, 27, 29, 55, &87 - Y21, 23,26 - YG 63,67 - G21 - BG09
To finish off, I added a bee and some beads that I have in my stash.
This frame is about 10"x10". It's a nice size to try your hand at stenciling and using sprays. They are great fun! Take an afternoon and just play!
