Today I have a traveler’s notebook layout using the Lake Life collection. Though I don’t usually go camping or to a lake, I do have some outdoor photos that work well with the collection.
I first used some of my Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Sweet Mint to splatter on the pages so my background wasn’t stark white.
I’m a big fan of the blue and yellow florals in this collection. It’s such a pretty color combination! It also works well because there are little yellow flowers in my photo. I decided to make them a focal point on the left side of the notebook. I also used some of the floral paper in my layers behind my photo and used fussy cut flowers to frame the photo.
I choose different papers from the collection for my layers that incorporated blue, yellow, and green.
As for my title, I chose “get lost” as in getting lost in nature, and used the beautiful Wild Whisper Brush Letter stamps to create the title. These stamps perfect for anyone like me, as in, you love the look of brush lettering but you may be far from mastering the skill yourself.
