Hello friends! Karla back today with a springtime slimline card using some fun products from the Wild Whisper Shop!! I love combining stencils and stamps and there are so many beautiful elements in the Ephemera Packs, like the Grow Your Own Way and FLOWERS from the Play In The Dirt Ephemera, that I decided to use those as well!
I started off by diecutting a scalloped rectangle from the Mama Elephant Slim Basics die set and stamping it with Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide Ink using the Nicole Wright Birch Bark Stamp. I inked up the stamp and moved it around on my panel, since the panel is longer than the actual stamp, to cover the edges that would show. Next, I used the Nicole Wright Fanciful Blossoms Stencil over a stitched diecut panel of black cardstock. I used Distress Oxide Inks again, as they show nicely over dark colours as well, in Festive Berries, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade and Lucky Clover. After I blended the entire panel I spritzed it with water to allow the inks to oxidize for a cool effect!!
I diecut an oval from the beatiful Pam Bray Nature's Bliss Paper Pack. The colours in this paper are amazing!! Then I tied some hemp twine and used some foam tape to layer on my ephemera pieces.
I finished off the card with some Tonic Gold Luxe Dream Drops and White Blizzard Glitter Drops and some beautiful sequins!
