Hello crafters and animal lovers! Tracy here, and today I have a fun little shaker card to share featuring the new Happy Tails Collection from Wild Whisper. Here are all of the nitty gritty details.
I cannot even say how much I love this collection dedicated to our furry family members. I wanted to create a fun and interactive shaker card featuring these fun patterns and beautiful sequins mix.
First I created my simple layered card base using black and white cardstock and the grey patterned paper from the collection. I added the patterned paper layer using white photo corners to add a little texture. As a finishing touch, I added the little heart border strip to the bottom of the card.
I used the Creative Embellishments dog bone shaker kit to create the shaker for the front of my card. I painted the base piece using white paint and the other layers in black paint. Let dry completely. Using a liquid adhesive I adhered the bottom 3 pieces together, and the top piece to the acetate piece adding the sentiment strip in between the layers. Let these 2 parts dry completely.
Add as much of the sequins mix to the shaker as you like. Then adhere the top piece of the shaker to the base. Again, let it dry completely before adding the shaker to the front of the card using adhesive dots.
