Hello friends! Karla back today with a snowy 12x12 scrapbook layout using the new Wild Whisper Canadian Winter collection. I love the colours, images and sentiments in this collection - awesome for Canadians, of course, but definitely not limited to any specific country! I was inspired by a sketch from the SCT365-2019 Layout Class using the November class. I love how wonderfully all the papers in the paper pack work together, and I find a sketch gives you fresh ideas on how to pull them together quickly.
I cut a 4x6 card down to 3x4 to use on my layout and layered on some of the ephemera snowflakes and pretty coordinating sequins. Using Stazon ink I stamped Snow Day directly on my photo from the 4x6 Stamp Set - which is amazing! I always find a way to use the fabulous branding strips on my layouts, and the Canadian Winter sentiment seemed to fit for sure.
I preprinted my journaling on a project life app card and then layered on my ephemera - using the Hello Winter as part of my title and adding Backyard Fun with Pinkfresh Puffy Alpha stickers. I just love the winter scene paper and was hesitant to cut it, but I really love how it turned out - and now I have more of it to use on another project ;)
