Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! For today's post, I created this Home for the Holidays Card. To create my card, I've used the Wild Holiday Home Digital Collection, Strength of the Season Sequins and Sweet Little One Sequins. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my Home for the Holidays Card at home.
To start, you'll need the Wild Holiday Home Paper Bundle. From the bundle, you'll need to print out the white, plaid and black snowflake papers. Cut the white patterned paper to 4" x 5 1/4". Cut the plaid patterned paper to 3 3/4" x 5". Cut the black snowflake patterned paper to 3 1/2" x 4 3/4". Distress the edges of all the pieces. Ink the edges of all of the pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Wild Holiday Home Paper Bundle, you'll need to print out the black & white dot patterned paper. Cut the patterned paper to 5/8" x 5 1/4". Distress the edges of all the paper. Ink the edges of all of the paper using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Next, you'll need the Wild Holiday Home Card Pack, Cut Apart & Cut File Bundle. From the bundle, you'll need to print out the cut apart paper. Fussy cut the three houses out. Cut out the Home for the Holidays sentiment. Cut the sentiment into three word strips. Ink the edges of the houses and word strips using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Out of the Strength of the Season Sequins, you'll need three white sequins. Out of the Sweet Little One Sequins, you'll need one black sequin and three brown sequins.
Adhere the 3 3/4" patterned paper piece to the 4" patterned paper piece. Adhere the 3 1/2" patterned paper piece to the 3 3/4" patterned paper piece. Adhere the 5/8" strip 1 1/4" from the bottom of the 4" patterned paper piece.
Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the three houses to the left hand side of the 3 1/2" patterned paper piece.
Adhere the Home for the Holidays sentiment to the right of the houses as desired.
Adhere the seven sequins as desired around the sentiment and houses.
To finish the card, cut a cardbase out of white cardstocks that measures 4 1/4" x 11", score at 5 1/2". Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.
Here are a few closeups of the finished card.
