Jedi Training Adventure with Khristina

Hi friends!

Today, I wanted to share a quick and easy way to work with cut files that doesn't involve taking the time to back each section with different patterned papers. Although I love that look as much as I am sure that you do, I don't always have the time or energy for a project like that.

Instead of backing the cut file, I placed it on dimensional adhesive and then put that right on top of the Fandom red star patterned paper. Because the branding strip was perfect for my page, I cut it off the bottom and moved it over to the side. The Xyron Sticker Maker that we received is a perfect option for sticking down those branding strips as well as the inside shapes to finish my cut file letters and the pieces of ephemera that I wanted to use.

I kept the embellishing fairly simple because the cut file takes up so much space and I really wanted that to be a design focus. In order to help my picture stand out, I clustered a few die cut stars and a phrase right around where my son was in the photo. I added a couple of epoxy flair badges and some foam thickers to the top and it was finished! I just love quick and easy layouts that bring a big impact!

xoxo,

Khristina
