Hello friends! Karla back today with a summertime layout in a grid style to document my daughter riding her bike with her friends! Sometimes freedom is as simple as getting on your bike and riding as fast as you can.
I'm using the Camp More Worry Less collection, which is fairly neutral, and fun to add other colours to! I started off by using the Creative Scrapbooker November Sketchy Challenge as inspiration, which inspired the grid layout. Even though this layout looks different than the sketch, I love that sometimes just having a starting point for a layout gets the ball rolling!
I added some of the new Villainous Potion Distress Oxide Spray to my background to bring out the purple in the kids clothes and even some light purple in one of the Camp More Worry Less cards. I used a white gel pen to write in my journaling and tucked some thread under a piece of ephemera on the top right.
The paper, cards and ephemera all worked great together to create this fun grid layout and I finished it off with some pretty sequins!
