Live Life in Full Bloom Wall Hanging by Katelyn

Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! With the arrival of Spring, I knew that I wanted to create something bright and spring like, so I've created this Live Life in Full Bloom Wall Hanging. To create my wall hanging, you'll need the Nicole Wright's Collection and the stamp set from the Strength of the Season Collection. Grab a cup of your favourite Springtime beverage and learn how to recreate my Live Life in Full Bloom Wall Hanging at home.
To start, you'll need to choose one of the patterned papers from the Media Assemblage collection. Die cut the 4" Stitched Fishtail out of the patterned paper. Distress the edges of the fishtail. Ink the edges of the fishtail using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Choose another piece of patterned paper from the Media Assemblage Collection and die cut a 3 1/2" Stitched Fishtail. Distress the edges of the fishtail. Ink the edges of the fishtail using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
You'll need to choose one more piece of patterned paper from the Media Assemblage Collection. Die cut a 2 1/2" Fitted Circle out of the paper. Distress the edges of the circle. Ink the edges of the circle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the single leaf stamp from the Botanic stamp set and stamp onto a piece of watercolour cardstock. Continue to reapply ink to the stamp and stamp three more times onto the same piece of cardstock. Using the Tropical Watercolour Confections from Prima Marketing and a waterbrush, colour the four leaves in. Once the leaves have dried, fussy cut them out. Ink the edges of the leaves using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the single flower stamp from the Botanic stamp set and stamp onto a piece of watercolour cardstock. Continue to reapply ink to the stamp and stamp six more times onto the same piece of cardstock. Using the Tropical Watercolour Confections from Prima Marketing and a waterbrush, colour the seven flowers in. Once the flowers have dried, fussy cut them out. Ink the edges of the flowers using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the flower branch stamp from the Botanic stamp set and stamp onto a piece of watercolour cardstock. Continue to reapply ink to the stamp and stamp two more times onto the same piece of cardstock. Using the Tropical Watercolour Confections from Prima Marketing and a waterbrush, colour the flower branches in. Once the flower branches have dried, fussy cut them out. Ink the edges of the flower branches using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the leaf stamp from the Botanic stamp set and stamp onto a piece of watercolour cardstock. Continue to reapply ink to the stamp and stamp five more times onto the same piece of cardstock. Using the Tropical Watercolour Confections from Prima Marketing and a waterbrush, colour the six leaves in. Once the leaves have dried, fussy cut them out. Ink the edges of the leaves using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Strength of the Season Stamp set, you'll need the "Live Life in" sentiment. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the "Life Life in" sentiment and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. Reapply ink to the sentiment and stamp again on the same piece of cardstock. From the first sentiment strip, fussy cut the "Live Life in" words and from the second sentiment strip, fussy cut the "Full Bloom" words. Ink the edges of the word strips using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Adhere the 3 1/2" Stitched Fishtail to the 4" Stitched Fishtail. Foam square the 2 1/2" circle to the middle of the 3 1/2" stitched fishtail.
In the top right side of the circle, adhere three leaves and one flower branch as desired.
Trim some of one of the flower branch down. Adhere the cut down flower branch and two single leaves just underneath the leaves and flower branch you attached at the top right side of the circle.
On the bottom right hand side of the circle adhere three leaves and one flower branch as desired.
Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere four flowers overtop of the leaves and flower branches. Two of the flowers will sit on the circle.
Adhere the "Live Life in Full Bloom" sentiment to the circle as desired.
Adhere one flower to the top portion of the circle as desired. Adhere the remaining two single leaves to the bottom left hand side of the circle. Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the remaining two flowers overtop of the single leaves.
To finish the wall hanging, punch two holes at the top of the wall hanging. Tie a piece of twine through the two holes to create the hanging portion of the wall hanging.
Here are a few closeup photos of the finished wall hanging.
