Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! For today's post, I created this Love Grows Here Card perfect for Valentine's Day. To create my card, I've used the Floral Collection, Nicole Wright Designs Ledger & Script Collection, Bloom in Love 4x6 Stamp Set, Play in the Dirt - House Plant Edition 4x4 Stamp Set and Cotton Candy Sequins. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my Love Grows Here Card at home.
Choose two patterned papers out of the Nicole Wright Designs - Ledger & Script 12x12 Paper Pack. Cut one patterned paper piece to 4" x 5 1/4". Cut the second piece of patterned paper to 3 3/4" x 5". Sand the edges of both papers.
From the same patterned paper pack, you'll need a red patterned paper and a border strip that has some pink or red in it. Cut the red patterned paper to 3/4" x 4", notch a 1/4" off the end. Cut the border strip down to 3 3/4", notch a 1/4" off the end. Sand the edges of the pieces.
Cut a piece of white cardstock that measures 3 1/2" x 4 3/4". From the Bloom In Love 4x6 Stamp Set, you'll need the two single hearts. You'll need red and pink inks. I used PinkFresh Studio Ink in Candy Apple and Passion Fruit. Uses one ink colour on each of the hearts. Alternate the hearts as desired on the white cardstock piece. Reapply ink as needed.
Next, you'll need the Floral 12x12 Paper Pack. Fussy cut two of the branches fro the grey paper out.
From the colourful floral paper, fussy cut a large pink flower out and two smaller coral flowers out. Sand the edges of the flowers.
Die cut a 2" Fitted Circle out of a piece of white cardstock. Take out the Love Grows Here sentiment from the Play In The Dirt - House Plant Edition 4x4 Stamp Set. Apply a red ink to the sentiment and stamp onto the circle.
Adhere the 3 3/4" patterned paper to the 4" patterned paper. Adhere the 3 1/2" patterned paper to the 3 3/4" patterned paper.
Adhere the red patterned paper piece 1 1/2" from the left and 3/4" from the bottom of the 3 1/2" patterned paper piece. Adhere the border strip 1 1/4" from the left and 5/8" from the bottom of the 3 1/2" patterned paper piece.
Adhere the large pink flower to the top left side of the circle. Adhere one of the branches in amongst the pink flower as desired. Adhere the other branch to the bottom left side of the circle as desired. Foam square the circle 3/8" from the left and 1/4" from the bottom of the 3 1/2" patterned paper piece.
Adhere the two small coral flowers to the bottom left side of the circle. Choose seven sequins out of the Cotton Candy Sequins package. Adhere the sequins in amongst the flowers and circle as desired.
To finish the card, cut a cardbase out of white cardstock that measures 4 1/4" x 11", score at 5 1/2". Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.
