Never Run When You're Scared by Jenn

Hello, Jenn here!!!  Happy Fandom month :)  I'm so excited to get started with this fantastic collection.  It was like Christmas morning for me when I finally got to open up all the packages and play.  This collection encompasses so many of the fandoms that I love, including my favourite Doctor Who, so I knew that had to be my first layout.

I started with a paper from Prima that has a galaxy pattern on it, and used some star stamps and embossing powder to scatter silver stars all over the paper.  Next I found the Tardis from the Fandom ephemera pack.  I used a blue Faber Castel Gelato to paint the Tardis blue.  The thick glossy paper that the ephemera pieces are printed on takes watercolour so well, and it was a lot of fun to customize the piece.

I have two pictures I took at the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle, one with a Cyberman, and one with a Dalek (EXTERMINATE... sorry, I couldn't help myself! lol).  I backed them with a leftover piece of blue constellation paper from Wild Whisper's More Adventures collection and then used foam dots to pop them up off the page.  Before sticking the pictures down, I created a border with silver glitter paint around where the pictures would be, then splattered some of the paint all over the layout, as well as some splatters in pink, purple, blue, white and black.  When that dried I placed the photos in the bottom right hand corner of the page, with the Tardis placed right in the center of the galaxy beside the pictures, also on pop dots.  I cut a centimeter off two sides of the layout so that I could use the rest of the blue paper as a matte on the left and top sides of the layout.

To finish the layout I added some stars from the ephemera pack around the page, then I created the title, Never Run When You're Scared, a quote from The Doctor, using various thickers from my collection.  I fussy cut two little Tardis' from the 12x12 pattern paper and tucked them into little tears I made into the left and top sides of the galaxy paper.  I outlined the Tardis' with my white pen, and created a sketchy border around the outside of the galaxy paper.  Finally, I added some of the exclusive SpeigelMom Scraps sequins all over.

You can see how this layout came together on my Youtube channel.  Remember to use my discount code DTJENN for 10% off your next purchase in the store.  Thanks so much stopping by, and until next time, Happy Scrapping :)
