Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! For today's post, I created this One More Chapter Tag. To create my tag, I've used the One More Chapter Collection as well as a Stamp Set from the Road Trip! Collection. I loved using the numbers from the Road Trip! Stamp Set to create my background on my tag. Grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my tag at home.
Die cut a tag out of white cardstock or grab a white tag.
Choose four numbers from the Road Trip! 6x8 Stamp Set. Next you'll need Distress Inks in Mermaid Lagoon, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade and Candied Apple. Stamp the numbers on the tag as desired, using whichever colours of ink mentioned above. I did a random pattern on my tag.
Ink the edges of the tag using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the One More Chapter Card Pack, you'll need the 3x4 cards that have the date and the door fronts as well as one more chapter word strip. Cut the date card down to 2"x2". Cut the door front card down to 3/4" x 3 3/4". Fussy cut around the one more chapter word strip so that you have three individual words. Ink the edges of all of the pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Out of the One More Chapter Ephemera, you'll need the red label, orange label, book stack, three stars, two pens and one pencil. Fussy cut around the two pens, pencil, the three stars and the book stack. Ink the edges of all the pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Use a mini stapler to adhere the door front strip to the left hand side of the tag as desired. Use foam squares to adhere the 2" square slightly over top of the door front strip.
Adhere the two pens and pencil to the right side of the 2" square as desired. Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the red label to the bottom right of the 2" square as desired.
Adhere the orange label to the bottom portion of the red label. Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the book stack to the bottom right side of the tag, making sure that it sits on the red and orange labels.
Adhere the one more word to the red and orange label as desired. Adhere the three stars on the tag as desired.
To finish the tag, tie a piece of twine through the top of the tag.
