Hello Wild Whisper friends!
Today I have my second share using the gorgeous new collection Palm Paradise.
I have created a 8.5X11 inch layout. I wanted to create a bright and fun layout which shouts summer.
I firstly cut a Toucan bird from the Silhouette Design store, cutting it in black so my yellow paper which I back it with stood out.
I then used a 4 inch paper strip of the bird paper at the top of my layout and the gorgeous black palm at the bottom. I used the watermelon border strip in the middle of both where they joined.
I used a pom pom frame from my stash (Crate Paper) and used a gorgeous photo of my boy playing in the ocean. I used a wood veneer phrase to finish off my photo feature (kaiser Craft).
I fussy cut some of the tropical flowers from a 6x4 inch card from the card pack and tucked under the Toucan bird (I foam taped the Toucan bird so I could tuck embellishments under). I also added one of the gorgeous flairs at the top of the page, choosing the bright yellow 'my happy place' one.
To finish off my layout I cut my title 'sun shine on my mind' from another 6x4 inch card from the card pack, finished off with another flair, this time the palm leaf. Lastly I added a word sentiment from my stash under my bird next to my photo. And there you have it a very summer, very bright and very fun layout!
