Hello friends! Karla back today with a fun layout reminiscing about The Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival put on by Creative Scrapbooker Magazine a few years ago. Today I'm using several Wild Whisper collections, and you can see how well they all go together!! I started off with a cream coloured background and layered a piece of the Media Assemblage Paper by Nicole Write vertically on the left of the page. I layered a branding strip and a piece of the green print paper from the Masculine collection horizontally across the bottom of the page and then started adding my photos.
I had preprinted some photos as 3x4's using the Project Life app and added some journaling to one of them. I need to remember to do this more since we all know as time goes on we forget some of the things that are important at the time! I matted the bottom of the photos with Heather & Suzy - the Wild Whisper Girls- and the journaling card, with a chevron piece of patterned paper from the Masculine collection again. The Hello Flair badge, as well as from that collection fit perfectly with the theme! I added in some Strength of the Season ephemera and stamped the little bee from the Strength of the Season stamp set.
I added this pic of myself and Jackie Ludlage from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine on top of a sunflower card and layered on an ephemera sentiment, both from Strength of the Season. I splattered on some Distress Oxide Mists and added sequins from both the Masculine and Strength of the Season collections.
I used a photo of myself and Katharina Doyle, as well from CSM, to the bottom of the vertical photo and card strip on the right side of the layout. A stamped sentiment from the Strength of the Season stamp set adds lovely words to the bottom of the layout, and a few more sequins finish off the bling. This was such a fun event, and I am so happy I was able to scrapbook this memory!
