Hi there! I thought that today I would share with you a One Sheet Wonder tutorial that I found on pinterest. With National Scrapbooking Day coming up this weekend, many of you might be making cards and Pam Bray's Sensational paper collection is perfect for this technique!
Below is the template that I used. You will get 11 cards using this template. Credit goes to Julie Davison for sharing this template here.
You start by cutting a piece of 6"x12" patterned paper from two different pieces of paper. Try to pick paper where all 4 of the sides look good together. Then you cut each 6"x12" patterned paper into smaller pieces as shown on the template.
These are the two patterned pieces I chose to use:
For card #1, I layed out the 12 pieces that I ended up with, and played with them... moving them around until I had a pattern of 3 that I liked. (I only show 9 of them here.)
In Julia's tutorial, she puts her cut up paper pieces on white card bases. I love the beautiful patterns and colours that Pam created in her collection, so I chose to add more colour and texture by using this piece of paper for the background instead. (I cut the panels 4.25" x 5.5"):
The first card that I have to show you is card #1 (you will get 4 of them out of this template.) For the sentiment label, I used Pam's new "Sensations" stamp set.
This next card is card #3. This time I used Nicole Wright's stamp set "Fanciful Bloom" for the sentiment label.
Give it a try! It's a lot of fun mixing and matching your pieces and you can't go wrong with Pam's beautiful collection!
Enjoy National Scrapbooking Day on the weekend and happy creating!
