This first card is created using the cardinal patterned paper only. Start with an A2 white cardstock card base.
Cut a white cardstock mat that is 4x5.25 and distress the edges. Cut the height of the patterned paper to 5" and distress the edges of the top, bottom and right hand side. Start tearing pieces and adhering them to the white cardstock mat. Add a final narrow strip of the corrugated cardstock to the left hand side of the card and add a burlap string bow. Adhere this card front to the card base using foam tape.
Stamp the sentiment onto white cardstock and cut around each. Ink the edges slightly using the same black ink. I hand cut out a simple little heart fron another patterned paper from the pack and adhered it to the card front. Adhere the sentiment pieces to the card front using foam squares.
This second card is created by using a simple mosaic technique, here are the details.
The card base is a standard A2. Cut a mat of white cardstock that is 4x5.25 and distress the edges. Cut the patterned paper to 3.75 wide and then cut 0.75" strips and distress the edges. Adhere them back in order using foam tape to the white cardstock mat. Then adhere the card front to the card base.
Stamp the sentiment onto white cardstock, cut down and then distress the edges. Cut a narrow strip of teal patterned paper, distress the edges and tear the ends. Adhere this to the card and then add the sentiment using foam squares. Add a couple of brown buttons.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
