Hello Creative Friends! Today on the blog I am sharing a travel photo card using the Wild Whisper Designs Road Trip Collection. I love adding photos to my projects, but do not always think to use my photos on cards. This is a great way to combine your photos, paper, and ephemera to give the card a more mixed media feel. It is also a great way to personalize your cards by using your own photos or use photos that are meaningful to the person that you are giving the card to.
When creating this card, I originally had Father’s Day in mind, but then the card went in a slightly different direction. This card was purposely created using a more neutral color palette that works well for a masculine card.
When I created this card, I fussy cut the van, compass rose, and map from the Road Trip Paper Pack. The geotag markers came from one of the strips at the bottom of the 12 by 12 paper sheets. I love the Wild Whisper Designs paper, not only because it is beautiful, but there are so many ways you can use the images.
I finished off this card using a quote from the Adventure stamp set, “Life was meant for good friends and great adventures.” Hopefully in the warm months ahead we can have both!
