Hello Wild Whisper Family, Jenn here with a Traveler's Notebook layout using the Child at Heart Collection! Back in 2018 I decided to take a break from Project Life and try something new to document my year so I decided to try a Traveler's Notebook for each month. I really enjoyed the process and love how unique each of my month's are. Some of my Notebooks aren't complete yet, though, and I would really like to get them done so my plan is to combine my shout-out scraplifts with the unfinished pages. In April I started doing shout-outs on all of my social media accounts to share fellow scrapbookers and crafters who are working hard to grow their channels. Each month I will share their links and do a scraplift to help spread the love and hopefully help them to find new subscribers and followers! I think this will be a fun way to stay motivated to finish my Traveler's Notebooks and also create a lot of different layouts inspired by my fellow scrapbookers!
For my first layout I am scraplifting Kim Ferguson. I chose a layout that featured multiple photos and some stamping. When I scraplift, I try not to copy the layout exactly, but take my favourite parts of the layout and then add my own spin on it. I used the controller stamps from the Child At Heart Stamp set in the top left and bottom right corners of the layout with black in, and then stamped the stars with some Tim Holtz Distress Oxides. I didn't want perfect stamping, just some interest in the same corners as Kim's layout. I also added some paper layers behind my picture, like Kim did, but I split my layers between the two pages of the layout, rather than right down the middle of the two pages because that is what fit better with the smaller layout size.
I also added two embellishment clusters using the controllers and arrows from the Child At Heart ephemera pack, I added the title 'Treaure The Moment', and then I added a sketchy line border around the whole layout.
