Hey blog readers! Happy Valentine's Day! Today we have a very special card created by Julia Chupik in honour of this occasion. We love how she used the new Classic Woodgrain paper, so don't miss her process video below. Julia will take it from here.
Happy Valentines Day! I am happy to be back on the Wild Whisper blog today sharing a Valentines Day card I made for my husband. I wanted to create a card that was both romantic and manly.
The background was created with Distress Oxides and the "XOXOXOXO" stamp from the Home For The Holidays stamp set. The focal point was created with 2 different pattern papers from the Classic Woodgrain that I die cut with the Heartfelt die from Sizzix. The two large hearts were covered with UTEE then sprinkled with red and pink embossing powders.
The other hearts were covered with Vintage Beeswax embossing powder from the Seth Apter Baked Texture line from Emerald Creek. The Baked Texture powders will soon be in the Wild Whisper shop!
Supplies Used:
Classic Woodgrains 12x12 paper pack
Distress Oxide Inks: Worn Lipstick, Candied Apple. Gathered Twigs, Walnut Stain
Sizzix Dies: 661188 - Sitched Ovals, 660218 - Handwritten Love, 660233 - Heartfelt
Thank you to Julia for sharing her stunning Valentine's card with us today! If you would like to see more of her gorgeous work, be sure to visit Julia's blog, YouTube channel, and Instagram.
