Hi Friends! Khristina here with a fun travel inspired layout combining a few different collections together. One of my absolute favorite things is to take bits and pieces of lots of collections and combine them together! How about you? Do you tend to mix and match or scrapbook within a single collection?
I knew that I wanted to use these postage stamps (Where to Next? Collection) that are travel themed as cut-aparts so I started by getting the fussy cutting portions done. I loved how they paired up with this geometric background paper from the Just Because collection. I had a few scraps of the orange airplane paper leftover from the Where to Next? collection and I thought that they made a perfect photo mat with the teal and black background. I also added a small torn edge along the bottom before matting everything on black cardstock. That additional detail just adds some extra texture and dimension and makes the layout a little more unique.
I then went ahead and added a little shelf of all of my postage stamps that I had cut out. I put them on foam adhesive to add extra dimension and then added just a few embellishments along with them. I tucked a couple of extras into my embellishment clusters to create even more continuity.
For finishing touches, I added just a few mini puffy stickers and some enamel dots from my stash as well as an oversized title which I think just makes the whole layout shine! I love oversized letters on a page so much!
That's it for me today....a really quick and easy layout with lots of fun layers and leftovers getting used. I want to challenge you to grab some of your bits and pieces of leftovers and get creating today!
xoxo,
Khristina
