I might have mentioned once or twice before, that I love the Strength of the Season collection!!! Well for today's project, I just had to take all the awesome quotes that you will find in Strength of the Season and combine them in a little 3"x4" mini book. It can be hung from a hanger, but the pages are so sturdy, that it also stands on its own.
To begin, cut a 3" x 2.5" strip of white paper and score it at every quarter inch. Mountain fold the scored lines as shown below.
Next cut twelve 3"x4" pieces of patterned paper and glue them to each side of the "mountain" folds, and to the front and back of the end folds.
Below, you can see all the pages.
At this point, you can add a ribbon holder by gluing it to the spine.
To give a finished look to the spine, I cut a 3"x 1-1/4" piece of white paper and glued it over the top of the ribbon and the front and back page. At this point, you are now ready to decorate your little book.
To decorate the pages I used the Strenth of the Season Sequins, a Flair button, and an Ephemera pack.
I think this would make the most thoughtful gift for a friend who might be suffering from depression, sickness, being shut in, etc... it would be sure to put a smile on their face and help give them "Strength for the Season" they're in.
