Life Isn't Perfect Layout by Linda
Hi everyone! I'm a "newbie" on the design team and so excited to be here and share with you February's collection "Life Isn't Perfect"! To create my layout I also used a piece from January's collection "Crazy Motivated", as well as a piece of cardstock from "Back to Basics". I dug back through the years to find this photo of my granddaughter after she tangled with her bedframe! This paper collection was perfect for THAT story! To begin, I thought I'd share with you a bit of the process that I use when I'm planning a layout. In this case, I started...
Living the Life by Jenn
Hello, Jenn here!!! Are you all having a ton of fun with Palm Paradise? Me to :D I started this layout by cutting thin strips from each piece of pattern paper. My plan was to lay vertical strips along the side of the layout and horizontal strips at the bottom, like a backwards "L". I love the touches of black in this collection and how bright it makes the colours look, so I really wanted do a layout with a black background. I tested my spray mists on another piece of black cardstock to make sure they would stand out,...
Karla's Last Guest Designer Post - A Grid Design
Hi friends! It’s Karla back again with another project using the amazing Wild Whisper September Farmhouse Collection. I have really enjoyed working with the beautiful images and colours in the papers and ephemera as well as pairing them with some fun farm photos! Today, I’m using the Farmers Market theme to document pictures I took on a weekend outing with my family at the Cochrane Farmers Market in Alberta. If you are in the area it is definitely a market worth checking out! I started off layering a piece of white cardstock on a border of black and white patterned...
Sunset Swim by Jenn
One of the things that I really love about Wild Whisper collections is that, while they always have a fun theme, they are versatile enough to scrap any thing you want, and combine with other collections that you have in your stash! I thought this week that I would use the Farmhouse collection to scrap an entirely non-farm photo. I started by looking through my leftover papers, ephemera, and cards to pick out anything that didn't have a farm theme to it. There is so much! I decided to use the sunset card and find a picture that would work...
Farmhouse Collection | Life is better on the Farm |Layout | Rachel Lowe
Hello Wild Whisper friends Today I have my second share using the new Farmhouse collection and also an exclusive Wild Whisper cut file. I have used one of the cut files and created a background cut file by making it larger and to fit my 8.5x11 inch layout. Background cut files certainly add impact to a layout. I paper backed the cut file with the wheat grass paper. The Farmhouse collection has a wonderful ephemera die cut pack and I have exclusively used them on this layout. I started by adding the Farmers Market sign with foam tape and tucking...
