Treasure The Moment by Jenn
Hello Wild Whisper Family, Jenn here with a Traveler's Notebook layout using the Child at Heart Collection! Back in 2018 I decided to take a break from Project Life and try something new to document my year so I decided to try a Traveler's Notebook for each month. I really enjoyed the process and love how unique each of my month's are. Some of my Notebooks aren't complete yet, though, and I would really like to get them done so my plan is to combine my shout-out scraplifts with the unfinished pages. In April I started doing shout-outs on all...
New Glasses by Jenn
Hello! Jenn here with a new Traveler's Notebook layout featuring the Floral Stamp Set and some Focus on You journalling cards from my stash. My Traveler's Notebook is almost full so I wanted to make sure I kept the dimension for this layout to a minimum. I thought it would be fun to bring the interest into this layout by creating my own embellishments to fussy cut out. I started with some plain white cardstock and five colours of Tim Holtz Distress Oxides. I smooshed the oxides onto the paper and sprayed the paper with water to help the colours...
Peace Filled Christmas Art Journal Collage by Nadine
Hello creative friends! As Christmas is just around the corner, I want to share with you this fun art journal project using collage papers. Wild Whisper designs has such a variety of papers and it’s fun to combine some of these together in one project. Using the NWD Baubles and Bows and Pam Bray Winter & Christmas collections, tear the patterned paper into pieces of various sizes. Using gel medium, add gel medium to the art journal surface and to the back of the collage paper. Stick it to the surface and brush gel medium on top. For more detailed...
Art Tag Using Doodling with Stencils by Nadine
Hello creative friends! Today I want to share with you a way that I work on my drawing and doodling skills using the Wild Whisper Designs stencils. I love the Wild Whisper Designs Disjointed Stencil and with the big open areas of the stencil it is perfect for using on an art tag. I started with blending Distress Inks onto the surface of the tag using Salty Ocean, Picked Raspberry, Blueprint Sketch and Wilted Violet. Placing the NWD Disjointed stencil to the surface, I added Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink to the surface. This created variation between the more translucent...
Mixed Media Fall Greeting Card by Nadine
Hello Creative Friends! Today on the blog I am sharing a mixed media fall greeting card that is so easy to create! Canadian Thanksgiving is this weekend and it seemed like the perfect time to share a fall card with you. I have been so inspired by the beautiful leaves, textures and colors as the trees change, these colors have greatly influenced this card project! I originally shared this demo at the Creative Scrapbook Carnival in September, but I thought I would create a video and share it with you today. This mixed media fall greeting card uses watercolor paper,...
