Watercolor Gift Bag and Card Set by Karla
Hello! Karla back today with a pretty gift set using the beautiful new Pam Bray - Watercolor 12x12 Paper Pack and the Floral 4x6 Stamp Set. The Floral stamp set is one of my favourites and I wanted to create a watercoloured effect with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and Bristol Cardstock. I started out by diecutting a scalloped rectangle from the Watercolor Paper to layer on the card base. I used a Waffleflower die to cut out an embroidery hoop and covered it with clear Emerald Creek Embossing Powder for a shiny finish. I used branches of leaves from the Floral...
Masculine Birthday Card by Linda
Hello! Today I thought I'd share a birthday card that I made for my dad. He is a prolific reader, so I thought this quote from the Fandom collection was perfect for his card! The front of the card was created very simply, using Fandom ephemera and a piece from the paper collection. I popped up some of the ephemera pieces with foam tape. I made use of more of the ephemera pieces on the inside of the card. Cardmaking doesn't need to be hard when you've got patterned paper and ephemera pieces!
Feel the Beat by Linda
Hi everyone! There is going to be a whole lot of wonderful showing up on the blog over the next little while, as 5 new Wild Whisper collections are launching on July 13th and they are ALL gorgeous! Today I thought I'd share a sneak peek at Feel the Beat. I have made this 4.25"x5.5" card topper using a couple of the pages from Feel the Beat. I haven't put it on a card yet, as I'm still trying to decide whether or not to make a card with it or use it on a layout... stay tuned! ;) I...
Floral Cards by Linda
Hi everyone, Today I'm going to show you how I played with the largest stamp from the Floral stamp set and created 3 cards with all the same materials, but still ended up with a different look on each card. I was able to create a different look, by placing the stamp differently on each card. I used the above piece of patterned paper from the Floral collection for the card base, and coloured the roses with Copic markers. Copics used were: Flowers: E00, E01, E02, E95, E99 Leaves: G20, G82 To colour the roses I used a very simple colouring style. On...
Sneak Peek: Watercolouring Floral Stamps and Video by Karla
Hello friends! Karla here today with a fun sneak peek at the new collection that will hit the shelves April 1st! You guessed it... it definitely has to do with florals, and today I'm sharing the gorgeous 4x6" Floral stamp set that is part of this beautiful collection. As soon as I saw this set I knew I wanted to watercolour it - and show you how easy it is to do that with Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers and gold embossing powder. By embossing on Bristol Cardstock the ink and water stays inside the 'wells' created and you can easily...
