Hope Blooms by Jenn
Hello Wild Whisper Family, Jenn here!!! This week I've paired my design team layout with today's sketch from Christy's 30 Days of Sketches series as well as the Scrapbooking from the Heart series, where the prompt for March is Hope! I think Hope is a great word for this month, where Spring begins. Even in these times where we still aren't quite sure exactly what tomorrow will bring, Spring gives us a feeling hopefullness. The sun shines a little more, our days are a little longer, and the first little glimmer of new life is popping up all around. I...
Egg Hunt featuring Pam Bray Products by Jenn
Hello, Jenn here with another layout to share with you :) This month I am participating in a fun series called Christy's 30 Days of Sketches where there is a new sketch to use all month long. I decided to play along with today's sketch for my Wild Whisper layout. The design of the sketch instantly made me think of Pam Bray's beautiful collections with all their mixed media and the paper I chose for my background, from her Carefree collection seemed like the perfect Easter layout background!!! I used watercolours to create the mixed media in the background of...
Have A Haunted Halloween by Jenn
Hello, Jenn here, wishing you a very Happy Halloween for this coming Saturday :) We love Halloween in my house and I love scrapbooking Halloween so I knew I had to pull out the last of my Halloween Night collection from Wild Whisper to create my layout for this week. I had one full piece of 12x12 paper left so I cut that in half along the diagonal, and then cut it again in half...
Kitty layout with Jenn
Hello, Jenn here, using the Happy Tails collection again this week to create a super cute grid-style layout. The design for this layout comes from a sketch by Meggy Blethen for the iNSD challenges going on at The Secret Not Secret Kit Club. I started my layout by painting squares on my background paper with watercolours, in the colours from the collection. While that dried I built my photo clusters by layering some of the 12x12 pattern papers behind each photo with some plain grey cardstock on between the layers so you could really see the colours of the patterned...
Travel Layout With Sara Scraps
Hello! Sara with you today! I had so much amazing feedback from my last travel layout that I decided to keep going in my album. Let's see if I can get it finished up! There is something very satisfying every time I put a layout in my album...after 5 years, let's get it done! For today's layout, I started with a PageMaps sketch to give me some direction and to keep me interested in scrapping photos that I want to document. I knew if I started struggling with page design, I'd change my mind and scrapbook something else. I mixed...
