Hello everyone! It's Katelyn and I am back with my first Forever & Always project! This collection is absolutely stunning and I wanted to use it for some great 12x12 layouts! This 12x12 layout features a photo of my friends and I at an event called 100 Days. It is essentially a celebration of having only 100 days until graduation.
The color scheme from the Forever & Always collection was perfect for this photo. Contrasting the light peach and the light green color with the gray floral pattern added a needed contrast that mimicked the photo. I layered the peach heart pattern and the gray floral pattern underneath my photo. To add texture to the background, I used some super old magic mesh. I started to build up some clusters around my layout.
These clusters are made of various bits from my stash. To keep the layout looking more cohesive, I used repetitive elements like the magic mesh, cork hearts, and some scrap pieces of the floral patterned paper. You'll notice that the cluster on the right and the clusters around the photo are very similar in content.
I nestled my title on the right side with my cluster. I'm not 100% happy with how the fonts of my title go together, but you work with what you got! I really love how all of the textures work together on this layout. Between the beautiful silkiness of the Wild Whisper papers, the mesh, and the cork hearts, it provides plenty of texture for the eye to take in.
