I love using the Happy Tails collection to scrapbook Salem because, as a black cat, he matches the colours so well, and he also gave Suzy a little inspiration in creating the designs!!! Hello, Jenn here, using the Happy Tails collection again this week to create a super cute grid-style layout. The design for this layout comes from a sketch by Meggy Blethen for the iNSD challenges going on at The Secret Not Secret Kit Club. I started my layout by painting squares on my background paper with watercolours, in the colours from the collection. While that dried I built my photo clusters by layering some of the 12x12 pattern papers behind each photo with some plain grey cardstock on between the layers so you could really see the colours of the patterned...

I Love Cat Naps by Jenn
Hello, Jenn here with a cute little TN layout about my sweet cat Salem, who loves his cat naps! The Fur Babies collection is just perfect for scrapping all the cute little moments we catch of our four-legged friends. I love how bold the colours are, and how well they contrast and compliment each other. I used the burgundy cat paper to matte my three photos and the horizontal stripes paper to matte two of them and add some contrasting colours.
