A Final Forever & Always by Cathy Potosky
This is a bittersweet post for me. This is my last post as a DT member for Wild Whisper and this project is in memory of my grandparents, we just lost my Grandmother on the 21st. So the original idea I had was put away and I thought the Forever & Always Collection would be perfect set to use as a tribute. I used the 12X12 papers and this one with all the words is my favorite sheet, I think. I used a sponge brush and just hit some spots with the TH Vintage Collage Medium to make the page...
A Wedding Thank You by Cathy Potosky
The bride had her planner, the guests had their take home favors and now it's time for the new couple to send a thank you note to everyone. The stamp set is addicting! I want to put the little flowers and sketchy heart on everything! And I did use them on the thank you card, with a background layer from the 12X12 paper set. I stayed with the colours I used for my favor box, Bundled Sage and Seedless Preserves. For the flower image I stamped it in Black Archival and then used my water brush to add the...
Wedding Favors by Cathy Potosky
Are you loving the Forever & Always Collection?! Isn't it beautiful? I love the colours and the neutrals, it is just so versatile. So for this project I created the favors for the guests to take home. I used the 12X12 paper and the amazing stamp set. I love the single sketchy heart! I started with an old box template that I had saved from a swap years ago. I traced it onto the back side of the 12X12 paper I wanted to use. I cut it out and I then scored it where I had the dotted lines....
Planning Your Forever & Always by Cathy Potosky
Is it time to start planning your wedding? Isn't it perfect timing that Wild Whisper has released the beautiful Forever & Always Collection? Yes, as always I will tell you to get two of the card packs and paper because you will love both sides! My first project with this wonderful line is a passport size planner for the bride. Lots of pages for notes and small enough to tuck into any purse. The labels on the front were cut out from one of the cards in the card pack and the letters are just from my stash (I didn't...
Brave Wings Altered Pocket by Cathy
Cathy Potosky is back today with a stunning project using an Eileen Hull die and the new Wild Whimsy collection! Cathy will take it from here! It's time for my final project using the fabulous Wild Whimsy Collection. I am so all over these darn dragonfly wings! I want these wings on everything right now. I first painted the wings, stained the bodies and made the little antenna and then put all the pieces together. The best part of the wing stamp is that you can use anything you want to create a body with! I put my dragonflies aside, after I very maturely made them...
