All is Calm by Linda
Hi everyone, I pulled out my Wild Whisper Christmas stamps... Christmas Comfort, Woodsy, Home for the Holidays... and combined them on a pretty, sparkly card today. I used them to create a scene within this pretty bauble stencil which was sponged with Hickory Smoke and Tumbled Glass distress oxide inks. I then took a piece of paper from an old collection called "Small Patterns", and to sparkle it up and make it Christmassy, I embossed the edges with Ranger's Silver Tinsel embossing powder, and trimmed it with a sparkly silver ribbon. Above, you can see how I also embossed...
My Home by Linda Pekrul
Hi everyone! It's great to be back with a new project for Wild Whisper this month AND a new paper collection "City Lights"! This week's creation was inspired by all the flowers and beautiful gardens that I am seeing everywhere. I chose to use a photo of my front yard for the layout. About 4 years ago I removed all the grass in the front and planted shrubs and flowers instead. I have never regretted it! I love all the colour and variety and the birds and squirrels seem to too! I sat and did a lot of fussy...
Saying Goodbye - Linda Pekrul
Hi everyone! The "Life Isn't Perfect" collection is so versatile, as I'm sure you've seen with all the projects that have been shared this month. Our vet gave us an extra day to spend with Beau, our rescue beagle from Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans; before we had to send him over the rainbow bridge due to cancer that had destroyed his quality of...
Celebrate by Emily
Hello everyone and happy August! Today I have a Traveler's Notebook spread. The photo I used was from last year's 4th of July celebration so I decided to do a fun festive layout. I chose to use the bunting paper and journaling card from Forever and Always. This is a wedding collection so a layout like this would be really cute for anything wedding related, but I also think you can use it for birthdays or anything else you're celebrating! I fussy cut the bunting paper and arranged sections on one side of the notebook. I decided to back my...
Happy Summer by Emily
Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a fun layout using lots of lovely Wild Whisper papers. For this layout, I cut my papers into small strips about the width of a branding strip, with some being slightly bigger, and I cut them at various lengths. I arranged the strips in a tile like pattern and varied the patterns throughout the page. My original plan was to cover the whole page with strips of paper, but I decided to leave some white space for my title and a few embellishments. This is a great way to use up your scraps...
