Hi friends!
Today, I am playing with loads of leftovers from various collections. That is something that I just love about Wild Whisper Products. No matter which collections they come from, I can always find a way to combine elements together in a new way. For this layout, I used elements from Life Isn't Perfect, Fandom, and City Lights!
For this look, I wanted to play off of the workshop background in my photo along with the bold white presence from the character, Baymax, in the photo with my boys. I created my own cut file and used my Silhouette to cut the title in two different fonts and sizes. I wanted this to be a bold title to bring in that strong white focal point in the photo.
I created layers for behind my photo using 6x6 pieces of leftover patterned papers from the Life Isn't Perfect collection which are a perfect match with the color tones in the brick paper which is from the latest release, City Lights. The small branding strip of hearts added just the right little extra for me. Then, it was just a matter of a few embellishments and it was done! Easy Peasy!
I kept the embellishments simple with a few puffy sticker hearts and a little scattering of black and white sequins (SpiegelMom Scraps). I also added some star stamping from the Fandom stamp set. I find that in Disney layouts I am totally okay combining hearts and stars on the same layout when on my other layouts, I tend to avoid using both. A little strange, right?!?
Today, I want to challenge you to grab some of your leftovers from a few different collections and combine them into a unique look on your next project. It not only gives new life to your leftover stash but allows you to create a different look! Have fun creating!!
