Alexandria Shares her Sweater Weather Layout

Hello and welcome back to the blog! Today we have Alexandria Goodman sharing her second fall project this month. We have enjoyed seeing how she incorporates leaves from her stash. They coordinate wonderfully with our Sweater Weather collection. From here we will let her take it away!
I pulled out the sweater weather collection, two leftover fall photos, my box of leaves and got started.
I started off sorting through my leaves. I have a bunch from the floral arrangement I mentioned in my previous project post, and some paper ones I picked up last year. For this project I wanted to use the paper ones, so I picked them out.
I selected this purple paper for my background. I used a scrap of the cream wheat pattern paper to mat my photo and lined up all my paper leaves trying to come up with a plan.
I love using journal cards for titles on my projects. I cut this 4x6 sweater weather card in half to use for my title.
I stuck my photo in the middle of the page and tucked the "title" under the edge to hide some of the cut off letters
I clustered the leaves at the corners starting with the back one and working my way to the top layer.
I added a little tag to the left edge to add the date, some journaling and hide the edge of the "s" above the "w".
Have a great day! -Alexandria
