Allison Kelly is back sharing another Project Life spread with us! We love how she has documented her daily life with friends and family using the Rooted Love collection. In this spread she selected cards that use the teal and red colour combination. Below she has shared her process in a video, so make sure to check out all the cute details!
Allison says: In this layout I used the cards from the Rooted In Love journal cards. I used a lot of the red cards because my photos had a decent amount of red in them. I also tried to do some embossing, but as you will see if you watch my video, it doesn't work out as well as I had planned. Overall I like how the layout turned out. I used the Focus on You camera stamp to make a filler card and also used the backer packaging from the stamp set for a 3x4 card too.
Embellishments from Allison's stash coordinate wonderfully with the card pack papers. We also love the DYMO label maker that she uses to title different cards. It adds a cohesive look throughout her entire album.
Below, on the card titled "Stephanie", Allison used the backer packaging from the Focus on You stamp set with our wood stump logo on it. The grey ties into the layout beautifully and we love this resourceful idea!
Allison created her own pattern paper using the camera stamp from the Focus on You set. It creates an eye catching background.
