Hello creative friends! Today I want to share with you a way that I work on my drawing and doodling skills using the Wild Whisper Designs stencils.
I love the Wild Whisper Designs Disjointed Stencil and with the big open areas of the stencil it is perfect for using on an art tag. I started with blending Distress Inks onto the surface of the tag using Salty Ocean, Picked Raspberry, Blueprint Sketch and Wilted Violet.
Placing the NWD Disjointed stencil to the surface, I added Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink to the surface. This created variation between the more translucent Distress Ink colors below and the opaque Distress Oxide ink.
Outline the stenciled areas with a paint pen and add doodles. There are many different shapes and patterns that you can use to fill the spaces.
Finish by adding stamping with the mountain and bear from the Adventure stamp set and a quote from the Where to Next stamp set. If you find that the paint pen is resisting the ink, add black paint pen on top to define the stamped images.
