I created a simple layered background using coordinating cardstock. Using the Worn Graph Stencil, red ink and a stencil brush I added some colour to the white cardstock. Then using navy ink spray, I splattered over and around the inked areas.

I used 3 journal cards. The navy 4x6 card and the small navy card which I snipped in half adding it above and below the double matted photo. I matted the photo in white cardstock and added white photo corners. The third card had the tree image and I fussy cut that out and used it like ephemera.
Add a small flag of burgundy cardstock to the top left hand corner of the layout. Then begin adding ephemera around the matted photo and mittens to the flag.
Add a simple little white tag above the matted photo and add some navy string.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
