Cathy Potsky is on the blog today with a wonderful tutorial on how to make her votive candle holders! We love the creativity that she brings to every project! From here we will let Cathy take it away!
Hey all you Wild Whisper fans! Can you believe how incredible the Strong & Free Collection is!? For my project I kept it simple and re used glass yogurt containers that my son saved for me!
I used the Strong & Free stamp set, the wood veneers and the paper set. I actually used the small branding strip from the bottom of the 12X12 sheets (ingenious idea the ladies had to make this useable!) and some embossing powder from Emerald Creek.
For my project I used the battery operated lights so I knew it would be okay to use tape and glue for attaching my items.
For each tealight holder I used different things. For the first one I simply used the strips trimmed to fit the holder.
For the second one I stamped the maple leaf image on the maple leaf pattern and fussy cut them out and attached with tape, I painted the tiny triangles with distress paint and attached them with Glossy Accents.
And for the last one I used the maple leaf stamp and the strong & free stamp and embossed in Candy Red and Soft Fallen snow from Emerald Creek.
For putting them out I had them set up on two of the gorgeous cards on a wooden panel.
Hope you all have your collection and are creating beautiful projects!
