Cathy Potosky is back today with a great journal accessory idea using the new Wild Whimsy collection! Cathy will take it from here!
There are so many things you can do with this collection! For this project I kept it very simple, but very useful! I got this idea from watching an Eileen Hull video where she created flower clips.
You definitely needs matching clips for your Wild Whimsy Traveller's Journal. And these ones match just right because they are all made with the stamps and paper from the collection.
I used Distress Oxides in Blueprint Sketch, Picked Raspberry and Shaded Lilac to create a background sheet. I then stamped six images of the seashell in Archival Black and cut them all out. I attache them to the larger paper clips
I stamped the word stamps on the patterned paper and cut them out. The whimsy I cut around the letters and the wild i just cut straight edges.
The tab clips, I used the small branding strip from the bottom of the 12X12 sheets. It's the perfect size to fit the clips I used.
And here are all of the clips together and all of them clipped into the travelers journal. And now I need more clips because I can make them from other collections that I love and have journals made from!
Now make sure you have glue sticks and get clip making to match your travelers journals!
