Dad Card by Katelyn

Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! For today's post, I created this Dad Card. To create my card, I've used the Nature's Bliss Collection by Pam Bray Designs, the Brush Script Stamp Set and the Card Pack out of the Where to Next? Collection. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my card at home.
Out of the Nature's Bliss Paper Pack, you'll need to choose three patterned papers. Cut one of the patterned papers to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Cut the second piece of patterned paper to 4" x 5 1/4". Cut the third piece of patterned paper to 3 3/4" x 5". Distress the edges of all the papers. Ink the edges of all of the papers using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Next you'll need the Where to Next? Card Pack. Out of the card pack, you'll need the 3x4 tag card, the mustard postage card, two cards with large cameras and the card with cameras and suitcases. Cut a piece from the mustard postage card that measures 1" x 3". Fussy cut the two cameras and the cameras on top of the suitcases. Distress the edges of the tag and mustard postage card. Ink the edges of all of the pieces using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Die cut a 1 1/2" Diagonal Stitched Fishtail out of a piece of kraft cardstock. Cut the fishtail down to 3 1/2". From the Brush Letter 6x8 Stamp Set, you'll need the letters d and a. Apply Potting Soil Archival Ink to the d and stamp onto the fishtail. Apply Potting Soil Archival Ink to the a stamp and stamp beside the d letter on the fishtail.  Apply Potting Soil Archival Ink to the d stamp and stamp beside the a letter on the fishtail. Distress the edges of the fishtail. Ink the edges of the fishtail using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Adhere the 4" piece to the 4 1/4" piece. Foam square the 3 3/4" piece to the 4" piece.
Adhere the mustard postage piece 5/8" from the right and 1/4" from the top of the tag card. Adhere the tag card all the way to the left hand side and 1/2" from the top of the 3 3/4" patterned paper.
Foam square the larger of the two single cameras 1/8" from the left and 7/8" from the top of the 4" patterned paper. Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the cameras on suitcases 1/2" from the right and 1 7/8" from the top of the 4" patterned paper piece.
Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the dad fishtail 1/4" from the bottom and 1 1/4" from the left of the 4" patterned paper piece. Use adhesive to adhere the remaining camera to the left of the fishtail. The camera will sit slightly on the fishtail.
To finish the card, cut a cardbase out of kraft cardstock that measures 4 1/4" x 11", score at 5 1/2". Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.
Here are a few closeups of the finished card.
