Hello! Karla back today with another installment in my Covid Traveller's Journal! For this TN layout I decided to use some photos of my sister's birthday and my daughter's online Netflix Party with a friend! I want this notebook to be positive and a reminder of how we changed what we did, but still made life fun, in spite of a pandemic. It's happening and we are making the best of it. These photos aren't even the greatest photos, but they are definitely a reminder of things or events that we still made special for us!
I cut a branding strip off of one of the 12x12 papers in the 6 Feet Apart paper pack to add to my page and then layered on washi tape from my stash. I matted the photos with the pretty Pam Bray Watercolor Paper Pack. I love the soft colours that peek out from behind the photos! I chose some diecuts from the Ephemera Pack and added them to the page. (Don't forget to check all the awesome retailers that carry the Wild Whisper products if the shop is sold out at the moment!)
I then wanted to lighten up my pages so I added some flowers I stamped using beautiful Creative Expressions Shimmer Shakers watercolour powders and the lovely flower from the Strength Of The Season Stamp Set! This was easy to do by shaking some on a craft sheet, tapping my stamp in it, and then misting the stamp with water before stamping. I fussy cut the images out and glued them behind my photos. I added a few birthday themed diecut ephemera images from my stash and added some pretty sequins (linked below)!
I am so excited to share that the beginning of this travellers notebook was featured in the latest Spring issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine!
Here's a look at the other pages I've created so far - along with the cover page!
