Hello friends! Karla back today with travelers notebook spread to share! I found this in my um, pile, of notebooks that may or may not be waiting to be finished... It was from the TN class that Heather & Suzy from Wild Whisper put on in 2018 and we met up in Fish Creek Park to take pretty photos, walk around and see nature and then sit down and document or just make pretty pages! I found these two pictures that hadn't been put in the notebook yet and decided to use some of the fun supplies from the kit they put together, as well as add some mixed media and a few other Wild Whisper goodies!
I used the Nicole Wright Worn Graph Stencil to add some Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Ink to the paper from the Lake Life Paper Pack. Then I added a bit of Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide Ink around the edges. I used the beautiful paper with the red bird from the Pam Bray Nature's Bliss 6x6 paper pad and punched a circle from a sentiment on the Lake Life paper. I added some pretty stenciling using the mountain stencil in the Nicole Wright Let's Get Toasted stencil set. This set is sooo cool! You actually cut apart all the elements and can do so many fun things with it!
I pulled out the Road Trip License Plate Stamp Set, which is so neat with a license plate you can actually stamp words into... and I used the letters to spell Explore and then added the Alberta and Canada to my pages. I used the Distress Oxide Inks again to aded colour to the Lake Life Cutfile Bundle, which is great because you can size them to fit whatever project you need them for! I dipped the star stencils from that fabulous Let's Get Toasted Stencil into some Distress Ink on my craft mat and layered them on the page as well.
