Hello friends! Karla here with another layout using the awesome new Talk Foodie To Me collection. I have lots of food photos - that's a big part of our family's activities- whether it's a special event, a holiday, a meal out, or a simple meal - like the homemade breakfast that I used photos of today. I love that this collection coordinates so wonderfully for all those things!
I decided to use the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine May Sketch as a starting point for my layout and chose the fresh fruit and honeycomb papers to work with. There are a lot of different images in the ephemera pack and I picked out some of the fruit ones to coordinate with the page.
I cut the Foodie title from the 12x12 paper pack cut apart sheet and embossed the edges with Wild Whisper Pine Dreams embossing powder. It's a gorgeous green colour that actually has a wonderful light pine aroma. I then covered it with Molten Dimension Glistening Glass - a clear embossing powder from Emerald Creek.
I cut apart the Julia Child quote - quite fitting! and added a few clusters of sequins from the coordinating sequin pack around the page, adding just that extra bling.
