Find Your Wild ATC's with Katelyn

Katelyn Grosart is back with another intricate photo tutorial for these beautiful Artist Trading Cards! Enjoy the tutorial, Katelyn will take it from here!

Hey Wild Whisper Fans! Katelyn here and I’m back today with one more project using the More Adventures collection. For my project today, I used a variety of the pieces from the More Adventures collection to create my Find Your Wild ATC's. You’ll want to make sure to go grab a cup of your favourite beverage as I walk you through how to recreate my Find Your Wild ATC's  at home.

We will start by creating the Find Your Wild ATC.

First, you'll need to cut a piece of chipboard that measures 2 1/2” x 3 1/2”.

From the More Adventures card pack, cut the wood card down to 2 1/4” x 3 1/4”. Once the wood card has been cut, slightly tear the paper down on the top right hand side. Fussy cut the yellow label and a medium sized wood circle. Cut the find your wild sentiment to 1 1/2” x 1 7/8”. Distress the edges of the wood card and find your wild sentiment. Ink the edges of all the pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Take out the blue dot paper from the More Adventures Paper Pack. Cut the piece of paper to 2 1/2” x 3 1/2”. Distress the edges. Ink the edges of the paper using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

From the patterned paper piece that has all the cut apart pieces, fussy cut the medium sized leaves and the climb sign. Ink the edges of the pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Choose two borders from the bottom of the patterned paper pieces. Cut one border to 2 3/4” and the other border to 2 1/2”. Ink the edges of the borders using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Adhere the blue dot patterned paper to the 2 1/2” x 3 1/2” chipboard base. Adhere the wood card over top of the blue dot patterned paper.

Place a dot stencil on the left hand side of the card. Dab Emboss It Ink overtop of the stencil where desired. Lift off the stencil and sprinkle Hammered Metal Embossing Powder overtop of the stenciled area. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool.

Adhere the 2 3/4” border 7/8” from the bottom and 3/8” from the left of the ATC. Adhere the 2 1/2” border underneath the 2 3/4” border. Foam square the wood circle to the left hand side of the ATC.

Adhere the yellow label to the middle of the wood circle making sure 3/4” is visible. Adhere one of the leaves to the left hand side of the wood circle. Adhere the other leaf to the right hand side of the wood circle. Adhere the climb sign overtop of the yellow label. Foam square the find your wild sentiment to the middle of the wood circle.
