Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! I'm doing a bit of a throwback today featuring one of my favourite collections, Floral. To create my Flowers Grow Back Tag, you'll need the Floral Collection. Grab a cup of your favourite Springtime beverage and learn how to recreate my tag at home.
To start, take out the white leaf paper from the Floral Collection. Trace a 3 1/8" x 6 1/4" tag onto the patterned paper. Cut the patterned paper tag out. Punch a hole at the top of the tag that matches the tag you traced. Ink the edges of the patterned paper tag using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Ink the edges of the tag using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Succulent paper, cut one piece that measures 2 7/8" x 5 1/2". Cut a second piece that measures 2 3/8" x 5". Flip the second piece over. Ink the edges of both papers using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the red flower paper, cut a piece that measures 2 5/8" x 5 1/4". Ink the edges of the paper using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Cut a white doily in half.
From the coral/peach flower paper, fussy cut one of the circle with a branch flowers out. Ink the edges of the flower using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Die cut a 2 3/4" Stitched Square out of white cardstock. From the Strength of the Season Stamp Set, you'll need the Flowers grow back quote. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the quote stamp and stamp in the middle of the square. Ink the edges of the square using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Floral Ephemera, you'll need one of the frames, a medium succulent, a small succulent, two flower bunches, ten leaves, seven flowers and one small succulent. Fussy cut around the images to get rid of the white. Cut the medium succulent in half. Ink around the edges of the succulents, flower bunches and flowers.
Adhere the patterned paper tag to the tag. Adhere the 2 7/8" piece of patterned paper to the middle of the tag. Adhere the 2 5/8" piece of patterned paper to the 2 7/8" patterned paper. Adhere the 2 3/8" patterned paper piece to the 2 5/8" patterned paper piece.
Adhere the doily half to the left hand side of the 2 3/8" patterned paper piece.
Adhere the quote square to the frame. Adhere one half of the succulent to the top right side of the frame. Adhere the other half of the succulent to the top right side of the frame. Foam square the frame 1 7/8" from the top and 1/4" from the right of the tag.
In the top left corner of the frame, use adhesive and foam squares to adhere a flower bunch, four leaves and three single flowers as desired.
In the bottom right corner of the frame, use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the other flower bunch, leaves, flowers, succulents and the single cut out flower from the paper.
To finish the tag, tie a piece of white twine through the top of the tag.
Here are a few closeup photos of the finished tag.
