Hey Wild Whisper Fans, Katelyn here! For today's post, I created this For You Card. To create my card, I've used the Play In The Dirt Collection as well as the Ledger 6x8 Stamp Set from Nicole Wright Designs. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my For You Card at home.
To start, you'll need the Play In The Dirt 12x12 Paper Pack. Out of the paper pack, take out the green word paper, butterfly paper and sun paper. Cut the green word paper to 4" x 5 1/4". Cut the butterfly paper to 3 3/4" x 5". Cut the sun paper to 3 1/2" x 4 3/4". Sand the edges of all three papers.
Cut a piece from the wood paper that measures 7/8" x 4 1/2". Cut the leaf paper to 5/8" x 4 1/4". Sand the edges of both papers.
Choose three border strips. Cut one border strip to 5". Cut the second border strip to 4 1/2". Cut the third border strip to 3 3/4". Sand the edges of all of the border strips.
Out of the Play In The Dirt Card Pack, you'll need the 3x4 card with the mushroom on it. Fussy cut the mushroom out.
Out of the Play In The Dirt - Garden Edition - Ephemera, take out two single mushrooms, mushrooms in a bottle and one two bunch mushrooms. Fussy cut around all of the mushrooms and the mushrooms in the bottle.
From the Ledger 6x8 Stamp Set, you'll need the letters to spell out For You. Apply Berrylicious Ink to the letters and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock to spell out For You. Cut the words into two word strips.
Adhere the 3 3/4" patterned paper piece to the 4" patterned paper piece. Adhere the 3 1/2" patterned paper piece to the 3 3/4" patterned paper piece.
Adhere the wood paper 3/4" from the left and 1/8" from the bottom of the 3 1/2" patterned paper piece. Adhere the leaf paper 1 1/8" from the left and 1/4" from the bottom of the 3 1/2" patterned paper piece.
Staple the 5" border strip 1 3/8" from the left and all the way to the top of the 3 1/2" patterned paper piece. Staple the 4 1/2" border strip 1 5/8" from the left and 1/8" from the bottom of the 3 1/2" patterned paper piece. Adhere the last border strip 1 1/8" from the right and 3/8" from the bottom of the 3 1/2" patterned paper piece.
Foam square the mushroom in the bottle 5/8" from the left and 7/8" from the bottom of the 3 1/2" patterned paper piece. Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the large mushroom 1/4" from the right and 7/8" from the bottom of the 3 1/2" patterned paper piece. Adhere the two bunch mushroom slightly underneath the large mushroom. Adhere the remaining two mushrooms as desired at the bottom of the large mushroom.
Adhere the For You sentiment to the right of the mushrooms as desired.
Adhere seven sequins as desired around the mushrooms. To finish the card, cut a cardbase out of white cardstock that measures 4 1/4" x 11", score at 5 1/2". Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.
