Karla Yungwirth, a Calgary AB local, is our first Design Team member to be up on the blog! We are so excited to have her on the team and she has really outdone herself today! She is sharing the process for her stunning 12x12 layout using the Focus on You collection and will also share two pocket scrapbooking pages! Be sure to check out her YouTube process video below and visit her YouTube channel for of her creativity!
We love that Karla featured so many elements from the collection, yet it looks so thoughtful and well balanced. Detail photos can be found below!
This cluster was created using the Focus On You Stamp Set. We love how she used the star stamp in the center on one flower!
The feather stamps from the set look wonderful in these brightly colour inks! The ombre inking is beautiful!
Karla has shown how versatile the stamps can be by using the phrase as her main title on this page. She has embossed it with the wonderful Northern Lights Embossing Powder.
Below is Karla's first pocket page! She has documented a day all about "ME" and what looks to be some delicious food.
On the card below, we love how Karla has used the floral leaves and sprigs to stamp a gorgeous watercolour-esque arrangement.
Journaling is an important aspect of scrapbooking in our opinion and we love that Karla used one of the cards with lots of white space to add her thoughts on the day.
Now on to the second pocket page. Seriously, this woman worked so hard on the projects for this post!
Karla used the title stamp again right across the feathers on this card. This is a great way to turn a decorative card into a more practical title card.
More stamped feathers, some sequins, and a sentiment from the 12x12 paper were used to embellish this simple splatter card.
