Hello all! Today we have Rachel Stewart sharing her clean and simple pocket page using the Rooted Love collection. We love how she pulled the blues and tans from the card pack to create a unique layout. We will let Rachel take it from here-
I decided my memory keeping for this year would be more centered around pocket scrapbooking - and I've really loved using the 9 x 12 size. I love the clean lines and versatility of pocket scrapbooking, and also the ability to include lots of pictures. I'm so excited to play around with one of the new collections by Wild Whisper, Rooted Love, and use it to document adventures. I love the blues and greens and the inspiration taken from nature! Perfect for my family!
I chose to use 3 x 4 cards in this layout along with 4 x 6 images. I thought this wood pile image would go perfectly with the collection - I love how the stitched white "You and Me" title looks against this background. I included some wood veneer pieces found in the Nature Mix pack from the Focus on You collection to add some texture. I also stamped a few accents on some cards using the Weathered Wood embossing powder from the shop. One of my favorite techniques is to fussy cut around stamped images and utilize them to add layering - which is what I did with the embossed plus sign, as seen below.
I love how well every item offered in the Wild Whisper shop coordinates with each other! It makes products last for so long.
